  • K…I gotta admit it…I am dragging.  It’s been a busy week full of new schedules, new routines….And I am tired!

I am glad it is Thursday as I am ready for the weekend and a chance to catch my breath! I just need to make it through today and tomorrow!

Below is a slide show of our chickens.  The pictures aren’t great….Evidently chickens can be tricky to photograph! They don’t stand still and when they move, it is often sudden and fast.

One thing I was hoping you’d notice is that the chickens are starting to lose their baby feathers and get their adult feathers.  There are a couple of chickens sporting white chest feathers edged with black.  That’s the lacing look of the adult birds.  The other birds mostly have reversed coloring which is their baby feathers.

Speaking of birds, I must go let them out for the day.

    Enjoy the slideshow!!!!!

  • They’re looking good! Your photos remind me of birthday party pictures – lots of back of head shots and blurry group photos. :) They are tricky. I’m glad the little one is hanging in there. When will they start ripping out each other’s cute little fluffy rear end feathers and acting mean? I hope it doesn’t happen.
