I am not going to drink the water at work. I think it is spiked!
Seriously, we are having a baby boom at work. It started in October with baby #1, then baby #2 in February. Next up is baby #3 in June and baby #4 in September. I think it must be contagious!
I decided no not knit for the next baby due and try something different so I am going to make up some burp cloths and bibs and little baby shoes and see what else I can do that is cute.
I had an idea of what kind of fabric I wanted for this project and found some fat quarters on etsy that I will be using. I am impatiently awaiting the yummy fabrics. I think the first batch should be coming tomorrow. Squee!
Here are some others that I ordered as individual fat quarters.
Pretty darn cute for baby items, don't you think? And even better....One of my friends and I are planning a crafting sleepover in a week or so. I am going to bring my fabrics and my sewing machine and I will work on the baby gifts....I have a bit of time pressure as the shower is right at the end of the month! It will be fun to be projecting with a friend!

Those fabrics are adorable! Great gift ideas! And it is nice to see you on here again!
@piecedtreasures - Thanks! It is my goal to get back at blogging.
Now that is a pretty bunch of fabric! I thought of you the other day when I saw some pictures of some quilted soft books someone had made. They were sewn and had all kinds of cute things to do in them for younger children, like lace and tie a fabric shoe, and there was a zipper sewn to some red fabric made to look like a picture of a dress, and there were buttons to button, and a girls face with yarn hair to braid. Glad to see you're back to sewing and blogging! Can't wait to see pic's of the baby blanket.... after it's gifted of course.
